Throughout the 2017 college football season, the Tournament of Roses and the Rose Bowl Game Football Committee will select players from each partner conference as the Big Ten and Pac-12 Player of the Week.

For their outstanding performances in week 11, Ohio State running back Mike Weber and Washington State defensive end Hercules Mata’afa were selected by the 17-person committee.

▪ Ran for a career-high 162 yards in a 48-3 win over Michigan State
▪ Scored on a pair of long touchdowns, 47 and 82 yards, in the first half
▪ Averaged 18 yards per rush and set a career-long with the 82-yard run
▪This is Weber’s first Player of the Week honor and the third for Ohio State this season (Barrett, Week 7 & 9)







Pac-12 Player of the Week

▪ Recorded a career-high five tackles for loss and three sacks in a 33-25 win over Utah
▪ Matched a career-high with eight tackles
▪ Upped his season tackles for loss total 21.5 and career total to 46, both second most in WSU history
▪ This is Mata’afa’s first Player of the Week honor this year and second for WSU this season (Falk, Week 8)
