The 122nd Rose Parade themed Building Dreams, Friendships & Memories, will take place on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at 8:00 a.m. (PST) featuring spirited marching bands from throughout the nation, majestic floral floats, and high-stepping equestrian units.

2009 Rose Parade Recap
In the spirit of the theme, Hats Off to Entertainment, the 120th Rose Parade was led by Grand Marshal Cloris Leachman on Thursday, January 1, 2009. The festivities kicked off at 8:00 a.m. with an explosive opening show featuring glamorous ballroom dancers and culminated, with pyrotechnics and a salute from Honda's Humanoid ASIMO. Dancers and individuals from all facets of entertainment thrilled crowds as the beauty of the floats wowed audiences along Colorado Boulevard. The sounds of bands and the sights of equestrians amused the viewers with their display of talent and dedication. As a whole, the Rose Parade featured magnificent floral floats, high-stepping equestrians and spirited marching bands, displaying the tradition and pageantry for which it is renowned.
