The 2009 Tournament of Roses events encompassed a wealth of entertainment. Pre-Parade and Game events helped visitors and volunteers alike get into the "Rose" spirit. The Parade delivered an entertaining showcase from beginning to end from the high energy opening dance act to the last band member marching his last step on Colorado Boulevard. The Rose Bowl Game featured the USC Trojans facing off against the Penn State Nittany Lions. After a grueling battle on the gridiron, the Trojans prevailed with 38-24 win against the Lions.
