Rose Parade Grand Marshal
1978 As Grand Marshal, former United States President Gerald Ford saw his alma mater, Michigan, defeated by Washington 27-20 at the Rose Bowl Game. Ford had played center for the 1932 and 1933 undefeated Michigan teams, and was named MVP on the 1934 team, which had a more losing record - they won only one out of eight games.
