Individual assistance is not provided.  You must provide your own wheelchair if needed. All persons attending the Rose Parade presented by Honda and/or the Rose Bowl Game presented by VIZIO must have a full-price reserved seat ticket for admission. Lap passes are not issued for children.

Tour Change Liability:
Tour participants may receive a full refund if drastic changes are made by the Association to the itinerary, components or prices of the tour provided that the participant requests such a refund in writing within 10 days of the change.  A drastic change includes a substitute hotel not listed in the brochure, significant change of a major component or a price increase of more than 10 percent occurring 10 or more days before arrival.  Price cannot be increased less than 10 days before departure.  Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Association shall have no liability and there shall be no refund of deposits or other fees paid if and in the event the Rose Bowl Game or the Tournament of Roses Parade is cancelled under circumstances which are beyond the control of the Association, such as acts of God, war, government regulations, acts of government, disaster, strikes, civil disorder, or curtailment of transportation facilities, which make it illegal or impossible to provide the services and/or facilities in connection with the tour.  Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game tickets are included at established face value and will not be increased under any circumstances.    Any refunds accepted under these terms are made with the express understanding that the receipt of such refund by a participant waives any additional remedy.

Tour Cancellation by Association:
Upon cancellation of the transportation or travel services, where the passenger is not at fault and has not canceled in violation of any terms and conditions previously clearly and conspicuously disclosed and agreed to by the passenger, all sums paid to the seller of travel for services not provided will be promptly paid to the passenger, unless the passenger advises the seller of travel in writing, after cancellation. This provision does not apply where the seller of travel has remitted the payment to another registered wholesale seller of travel or a carrier, without obtaining a refund, and where the wholesaler or provider defaults in providing the agreed-upon transportation or service. In this situation, the seller of travel must provide the passenger with a written statement accompanied by bank records establishing the disbursement of the payment, and if disbursed to a wholesale seller of travel, proof of current registration of that wholesaler.

California Seller Of Travel:
The Tournament of Roses Association is a Registered Seller of Travel with the State of California.  CST number 2109580-50. Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval by the State of California.

Travel Consumer Restitution Fund:

For Passengers Purchasing from Within California:
This transaction is covered by the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund (TCRF) if the seller of travel was registered and participating in the TCRF at the time of sale and the passenger is located in California at the time of payment.  Eligible passengers may file a claim with TCRF if the passenger is owed a refund of more than $50 for transportation or travel services which the seller of travel failed to forward to a proper provider or such money was not refunded to you when required. The maximum amount which may be paid by the TCRF to any one passenger is the total amount paid on behalf of the passenger to the seller of travel, not exceed $15,000. A claim must be submitted to the TCRF within 12 months after the scheduled completion date of the travel. A claim must include sufficient documentation to prove your claim and a $35 processing fee. Claimants must agree to waive their right to other civil remedies against a registered participating seller of travel for matters arising out of a sale for which you file a TCRF claim.  You may request a claim form by writing to: Travel Consumer Restitution Corporation; P.O. Box 6001, Larkspur, CA 94977-6001; or by visiting TCRC's website at www.tcrcinfo.org.

For Passengers Purchasing from Outside of California:  This transaction is not covered by the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund.

Purchase Money & Deposit Plan Disclosure:
California law requires certain sellers of travel to have a trust account or bond. The Tournament of Roses has a bond issued by American Contractors Indemnity Company in the amount of $80,000.00.

Insurance:
Trip cancellation, health, accident and baggage insurances are available on an optional basis through a third party unaffiliated with the Association. Trip cancellation coverage provides for reimbursement of prepaid, non-refundable travel arrangements in the event that death, accident or sickness of the insured or his/her immediate family prevents him/her from departing on the trip or forces his/her return prior to the specified date of return.  Guests can secure their own insurance or applications. Said general insurance is strongly suggested and the information can be sent upon request.

Responsibility:
The Association acts only as an agent for the various owners or contractors providing means of transportation or other services.  All tickets and coupons are issued subject to any and all terms and conditions under which such means of transportation or other services are offered or provided.  The issuance or acceptance of such tickets and coupons shall, subject to any requirements imposed on the Association by law, be deemed to be consent that the Association, its officers, directors, members and/or employees shall not be liable or responsible in any way in connection with such means of transportation or any other services, for any loss, injury or damage to or in respect to any person or property, howsoever cause or arising.  The Association reserves the right to withdraw the tour at any time or to make changes in the published itinerary whenever, in its sole judgment, conditions warrant or if it deems it necessary for the comfort, convenience or safety of the tour.
