Tournament of Roses Foundation raises $2,000 to support its mission
PASADENA, Calif. (March 28, 2012) – The Tournament of Roses® Foundation is the proud recipient of a generous donation from El Cholo Cafe. The donation comes as a result of the “Dine-Out Day” fundraiser held at the restaurant on February 29. Tournament members brought family, friends and business associates to El Cholo’s Fiesta Room to share in camaraderie, conversation, food and fun. El Cholo graciously donated $1,000 to the Foundation from the day’s food and drink proceeds. The event also included a small silent auction which raised another $1,000 bringing the net proceeds to $2,000 from the day to benefit the Foundation’s mission.
Established in 1983, the Foundation is a tax exempt, non-profit public benefit corporation established to receive and manage contributions from the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association, its supporters, and the general public.
