2011 Bandfest Presented by Remo®

PASADENA, Calif. (December 16, 2010) – The Tournament of Roses® announced today that for the first time ever, the Pasadena Tournament of Roses will be presenting Bandfest via webcast. Now, band and music lovers everywhere may watch Bandfest shows live on their computer and marvel at the different styles of field shows being presented by bands from around the world.
Featuring the prizewinning bands of the 2011 Rose Parade, Bandfest is a spectacle of band field shows, expertly displaying the talent that made the bands from all over worthy to perform in the Rose Parade.

“We often receive several requests from participating bands for copies of the show to be sent to families and friends who couldn’t travel out to Pasadena,” commented chairman of the Tournament of Roses Music committee Alex Aghajanian. “Offering the show via webcast was the perfect solution and provides a means to offer the bands an additional fundraising avenue. As the Tournament of Roses seeks to offer more online experiences, we decided Bandfest was the perfect show to begin with a live, online stream.”

The cost of the musical experience is $8.50 per Bandfest show or $21.00 for all three shows. Additionally, purchasers of the webcast are welcome to designate a portion of the purchase price ($1 per show or $2 for all three shows) to the school music program of choice associated with the 2011 and upcoming 2012 Rose Parade bands.
