All horses are being rented from Hart's Ranch in Corona, CA.

GROUP DESCRIPTION: Hawaii Pa'u Riders all 16 equestrian riders are coming from the State of Hawaii dressed in colorful outfits and riders as well as horses adorn with fresh floral leis from Hawaii. Hawai’i Pa’u Riders was founded in 1981 by John and Lita Cook for which they were invited by Hawaii Governor Ariyoshi to participate in the New York Madison Square Garden Horse Show and New York Veteran’s Day Parade.

From then on this unique, colorful and beautiful equestrian unit has been invited to numerous parades such as Portland Rose Festivals Parade, Seattle Torchlight Parade, Las Vegas Helldorado Parade, Wisconsin Western Days Parade, Montana Centennial Parade, Phoenix Sunkist Fiesta Bowl Parade and the grand daddy parade of all your Tournament of Roses Parade, Hawaii Pa’u Riders strives to always shared the ALOHA spirit to everyone all over the world. Show the beauty Hawaii has to offer with the colorful outfits and beautiful flowers. Now Hawaii Pa’u Riders ride in memory of the late Lita Lowea Carrillo Cook who shared and carried on the tradition and culture.

Colorful velvet Kepola Tops and satin Velvet bottoms worn by the ladies. The men are wearing black cowboy attire with Hawaiian satin capes. All horses and riders are adorn with floral leis.

Rode in the Seattle Seafair Torchlight Parade on July 28, 2012 and won 1st Place in the equestrian division.

It cost a lot for the Hawaii Pa'u Riders to participate in the 2013 Pasadena Rose Bowl Parade which is $2,500 per person.

Hawaii Pa'u Riders are participating in the 2013 Pasadena Rose Bowl Parade in honor of the late Lita Lowea Carrillo Cook who founded the group in 1981 and bought the Hawaii Pa'u Riders to participate in the #1 Parade in the USA in 1996.

RIDERS: Cyndi PA, Bonnie Neal, Denise Ramento, Kahikulani Whitted, Ekini Lindsey, Cheryl-Ann Viera, Sundra Ornellas, Kryshelle Arelliano, Lopaka Matthews, Phillip Neal, Jimmy Ramento, Kamuela Kepo'o, Ho'opono Wong, David Ramos, Darren Costales. All from the island of Oahu, HI Hawaii Pa'u Riders are a unique floral and colorful equestrian unit perpetuating there Hawaiian Culture and represent their beautiful State of Hawaii. The ladies will be representing the 8 major Hawaiian Islands in velvet kepola tops and satin pa'u bottoms in the island colors. Decorated with beautiful flowers from Hawaii the riders and horses.
