UNIFORM: Red jackets with black and white trim, navy blue pants/skirts, navy blue Salvation Army hats and caps.

BAND DESCRIPTION: 180 total, 5 leaders, 1 drum major, 116 brass, 15 flag bearers, 12 percussion, 2 banner carriers and 29 women at the front of the unit playing their tambourines to the music provided by the band.

This year the band is made up of various groups throughout Southern California. Two young musicians are also invited from each of the Army's 56 divisions across the USA and Canada. This year our guest band is the Divisional Youth Band from Toronto, Canada.

The Salvation Army was founded in 1865 in England. It is an international movement and an evangelical part of the Universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of Christ, to meet human needs in His Name without discrimination.
